I'm so excited to share my wreath!  I've spent weeks working on it.  When the kids finally went to bed, I would sit on my bed and roll my paper and cut it to size, fluff it out to make a rose, hot glue it and go on to the next.  It took so much time and I thought I'd never be done with it.  Here it is...finished at last!
It turned out amazing!  However, before I could get around to posting this my dang kids got to my wreath.  I had it hung up, proudly displaying it on my door and "it wasn't me" broke it!  Now look at it.
I'm so upset!  Weeks and weeks of work.  I'm going to try to hot glue it back together and see if that works.  I would like to wring the neck of "it wasn't me" though.  That little trouble maker has been reaking havoc around our house for days now!

Oh, and since I didn't mention it, I found this idea and how to do it on Pinterest!

Teacher gift

I took a can washed it out, dried it and then painted it.  I let it dry over night and then I hot glued some stones onto it.  (I found this can idea on pintrest, (I think).  It's been forever since I've seen it.)

Anyway, then I posted pictures of the cans on fb and asked my friends what ideas they had for my cans.  I got some really good responses, such as planting a herb garden, and making them teacher gifts as a pencil holder, or flower pens.  I asked the kids if they liked the pen idea and here's the finished look.

Thank you friends for the great idea!  I had to keep one for myself!

Wow, how time fly's!  Sadly, it's been months since I've updated my blog.  I went to school (again) for Spring session.  I've been going off and on since I was a Junior in High school,  so it's been years!  I'm hoping one day before I"m 40 that I've got my degree, but at this rate... Up side though, I did get all A's.  YA!!  On top of going back to school, we were looking for another house.  (We like to do things as hard as we can.)  We looked and looked for about 4 months, and just weren't finding anything, so we decided that we would build and get what we wanted.  We didn't want to be too far from where we are now, but as luck would have it, we're building our house all the way out in Lehi.  It's a beautiful area though.

Now, I"m really struggling with the whole idea of leaving everything I know here, (not that we will be too far away, about 30 minutes from our home here.)  I think right now I'm having a hard time deciding weather I quit Stampin Up! for now, or perceiver through.  All of my clientele is already about 30 minutes from me, so to add an hour?  It's not happening.  I'd be starting all over in Lehi, and I'm not even sure how I started it up here.  Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks ladies, for stickin with me through all of this time.

Now for some pictures of our area.  This is the first place I'm posting them.  Sneak peak here first.
This is the view we get to have.  It's gorgeous out here.
This is our land here.  This will be where our new home will be built.
This house is the one being built next to where ours will be.  I wonder who our neighbors will be.

Wow, two posts in two days!  I just wanted to share one of the projects I spend my day today doing (instead of homework).  The "O" is actually different themed items.  I painted this one today and the "spring flower".  I have several more seasons to paint, but I love how it's turned out already.  The paper on the HME is from Stampin Up!  I love that I can always find something to work with in my huge stash of their paper.

Where has the time gone?

I can't believe how fast the time has gone.  I have been so crazy busy I haven't had a moment to take a breathe.  I am back at school...again...trying to get my associates degree in Social Work.  It's been several years since I've been to school, and I have been working towards this degree for a lot of years.  (I've taken years at a time off for varies reasons, usually for a new baby.)

I still held my technique night, and this month we did the black magic technique, and a Valentines theme.  Here's the card that we did.
I found this technique at Dawn's site, and the card layout.  Her card is amazing!  Check it out here.

Here's another card that I made using the same technique.  And my Favorite Card.  I made this one for my Husband.

Notice the two blank spots on the bottom of the card.  There were 2 strawberries down there too, but a little three year old pulled them off.  So just "imagine" what it should look like.

I hope everyone has a great Valentines Day!  I will be in school and busy all day, but I hope it's still a good day.
