Color Spritzer Tool

My technique club went well.  We did the scrap book layout, and made an Easter card.  I got this card from a friend of mine who is also a SU demonstrator.  Here's her card.

Isn't it super cute?  I thought that I would case her card and just add my own touch to it.  So here's my version of the card.

I dont' think you can see the background very well, but I used the Color Spritzer Tool.   I first used this tool at convention and didn't buy it until a few months ago.  I really like how simple it is to make a back ground and I'm so glad that I bought it.  I gave the ladies several markers to choose from and make their own backgrounds.  I think all of the cards turned out super cute!  I think this tool is a fun technique to use.

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to two of my ladies, Michelle, and Brooke.  Here's what I made for their b'days.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, my Big Shot!  This was made using the Pillow Box.  What a great little treat and so easy to make.  I filled them with yummy star burst jelly beans, and added the black stampin spot.

Thanks for stopping by, and as always I love receiving comments.

Eastern Blooms

I have my technique club meeting tomorrow night, but have just barely been able to sit down.  It's been a crazy month, with being super sick (flu), Dr's appointments, blood work, dentist appointments, sick kids, husband,...the list could go on and on, thankfully though, we all seem to be well on our way to recovery.  (Sure makes you appreciate your health, and that of your kids.)

For this month, I decided that it would be fun to do a scrap book page rather than just cards.  (A couple of my ladies have expressed interest in doing a page.)  So, this idea comes from our (SU) idea book and catalog.  It's on pg. 112.   Here's my version of it.

I wish I could get a picture to show it better, but I really like it!  I hope my gals tomorrow night aren't disappointed.  We will be doing a card too!  Come tomorrow night, everyone is welcome.  Free for visitors with a $30 order.

Ha?

It's hard coming up with titles.  So this title came from my kids, who always say, "ha?"  Even though you know they heard ya!  Anyway, this is a card that I made for a friend of mine who is having a tough time.  Now, I'm pretty sure I saw something like this on Split Coast.  I just made this card a couple of days ago, and I cant for the life of me think of the name of the stamp set, and I am too lazy to go look for it now.  (Craft room is a mess from my last 2 projects!)  When I come across it I'll add a link to the card I got the idea from.  Thanks as always for stoppin by!

Oh, I forgot to mention, I water colored the flowers.  That was my first time ever trying that!  I am having tons of fun with all these firsts.  I really like how they turned out.  (The big flowers are the water colored ones, the little one's I just stamped on.)

Here's the link.  The stamp set is Season of Friendship.  Thanks!~
