Christmas table settings...

I saw this really cute idea from a friend, (thanks Connie). I decided that these little trains would make really cute table settings and place cards at the same time. So I've added the star on top using the star punch and real red ink. I'm really excited at how cute they turned out. As always I'd love to hear your thoughts! I love comments. Thanks for looking.

The Christmas ornaments

A few days ago I put pictures up of the ornaments that I made. Well, just an update, if you put in the re-inkers and no glitter, it will never, ever dry. I've let them sit for several days and when I went to get the ornaments it was a mess with all the ink. So, I guess you must add the glitter, unless someone else know's something I don't know. Which of course is likely. For me however, just ink made a mess. Let me know if there's something else you can do without adding the glitter. Thanks!

Birthday card

I know I've seen this idea with the punches in several places, so I don't know who to give credit to. With that being said, I made this super cute dress. I used the square punch, the word window punch, and the oval punch. I used retired green galore, and current melon mambo. The flip flops I thought went perfectly with this dress. I actually bought that punch on clearance at Michael's. Other than the flip flop punch, everything is SU. The brads and flowers came from the pretties kit. I wanted to do something a bit more summer looking. My friends birthday falls one day after Christmas and I didn't want to stick with the Christmas look. This card looks feminine and warm to me. What do you think? As always comments are very appreciated! Thanks for looking!! p.s. PLEASE read my comment below. I found the blog my idea came from after I posted this. Check her out, she's got amazing ideas!

The finished product...

I think I've finished my gifts for our neighbors. Here it is.

Christmas Fudge...

I came across this super cute poem. I believe it came from Paper crafts Nov. Issue. (I think.) Anyhow, I have printed the poem off on card stock, stamped it with some snow flakes, added some bling, and attached it to some yummy orange sticks. I had thought of wrapping the chocolates, but I really think this way looks nice enough, if not nicer. Here's the poem; Dashing from the malls With groceries yet to buy, Lessons, work and housecleaning, Life's so crazy! Why? Bells on our telephone ring, The machine will take the call, We have not time for family or friends, It drives us up the wall. How are you? How's your life? We really want to know. Hope you're ready for Christmas, Now maybe it will snow. A day or two ago, We thought we'd make a treat, For all our special friends- A Christmas gift to eat. Our intentions were top notch, But our schedules would not budge, Hence, here's this years edition Of homemade Christmas Fudge! Pretty cute poem ha? I thought it would be great this year with our orange sticks. Let me know what you think. As always, all comments are appreciated. Thanks!

What do you think?

My brother in law is a HUGE Denver Broncos fan. He decided that he wanted to decorate his tree with that theme. It wasnt until he started that he realized there are no orange ornaments to be found. We've looked at all the stores, the sports stores, and there are no orange ornaments or Bronco's ornaments. So I decided that for Christmas this year I would make him some. I've now made them and I'm just not sure that I like them. The first ones I made had glitter in them and my husband said they looked too girlie. So these one's I've posted are the one's I settled on. Now, I'm not sure if it's a stupid thing to give him. I mean is it a girly gift? I was super excited about the idea, but now, I'm wondering if I should just put them away and forget them. This is where you come in, would you let me know what your honest thoughts are? Thanks!!

I've almost got it done...

This year for some reason I haven't had much of the Christmas spirit. So I feel like I've been a little slow getting my stuff done because of it. With that being said, here's my gift card holders. I found these measurements at Chic'n'Scratch.typepad.com If for some reason you can't find the directions there, the measurements are 6 5/8 X 4 1/4. Then you score @ 2 3/8, 4 7/8. Tie the ribbon around the top and walla! Simple. Thanks so much for looking, and as always, all comments are greatly appreciated.

Look what I made...

If your interested in the re-inker colors I used, they are, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, Real Red, Bermuda Bay, and Cameo Coral. I am so excited about how these ornaments turned out. You can get much better directions than I'm gonna give if you look on you tube. Check out my stampin crush, Dawn Griffin. I LOVE everything she does!! So, here's how I made my ornaments. I bought a box of clear ornaments from Big Lots for $3.00. I added about 25 drops of my reinkers into the bulbs, (one bulb at a time.) I then rolled my ball around until the entire inside was coated with ink and then I added some glitter in each ball and shook. I bought some rub ons and added those to the outside of my ornaments. I LOVE how they turned out. I wish I could keep them, but I made them as gifts. I'd love to know what you think. Oh, and if I'd been smarter and planned ahead, I could of easily bought most of my supplies from SU. Next year, I think I need to start planning in August at least! I'm such a procrastinator. I'd really love to know what you think! Thanks friends!!

Totally cased

I was looking for ideas for my card swap group. This months theme is to make one card using a die cut. I came across this one on split coast and knew I had to do it. I LOVED it! Her blog is www.sarahsinkspot.blogspot.com I added the perfect pocka dots, to me it made it look a little more like a quilt, but full credit goes to Sarah. If it was her original idea or not, she is the one I cased it from. I LOVE all the resources the Internet has too offer.

Christmas gift

I am so excited, I found this idea on you tube. I don't know who to give the credit to because there were several different videos. Anywho, I love how these tiles turned out. I plan on giving them to a couple of friends. I would love to give them out to all of my friends, but I don't have pictures of all of them. How do you think they turned out? Is it a good Christmas idea?

It's my birthday

Can you see the christmas lights? I LOVE IT!! This isn't a stampin up idea, or a card, or anything like it. It's not even my idea, but I thought it was so clever and amazing! I was so touched by it too. A really good friend of mine made it. Thanks again! I love it.

Two in one...

In my last order, I received the Bigz Scallop Envelope. I couldn't wait to come up with something to do with it. I had this idea in my head, but I'm not sure I captured what I was trying to do. I used the retired stamp set Christmas punch to make the tags, Delightful decorations and the ornament punch, and the Northern Hearts snowflake stamp set. The colors I used are Marina Mist, Wild Wasabi, and Red real. I'd love to know what you think, I'm just not sure I like it. It's not what I had envisioned.

I've got the pictures. YAAA!!

Alright, so I have found my camera and my sweet husband found the charger. So I'm back in bussiness baby! Here's the pictures to the wall hanging I made. I think it turned out great! I think I'll make one using Christmas colors since it is the holiday season. I haven't quiet finished the wall hanging. You add pictures on one side, and write what you love about them on teh side that says' "things I love..." I don't have a stamp that says, "about you," so I'll hand write that in the bottom. I'll for sure post my christmas one when it's entirely finished. Let me know if your interested and I'll post the tutorial.
