OWH

Here are the cards as promised.  Again, I want to thank everyone who has helped me with this cause, both with support and donations.  With time, and supplies.  Thank you!  I feel so passionate about this cause and it's so nice to have the support.  This card uses the Retired stamp set "And many mower".  It's one of my favorite masculine stamp sets.

The stamp sets, colors, and punches used are all SU.  The paper and ribbons may or may not be.  I asked for donations of paper (I can't fund this myself, though I'd love to).

This is using the same stamp set "and many mower".

For this card, I used the  Big Shot and the Big Bold Cupcakes, the many mower happy birthday punch, the eyelet border punch, the scallop Oval punch, the oval punch, and the Define your Life set.

For this card, I've still got to glue it onto a card base, but I loved this card because the night we were doing these cards there was a quilt set up for anyone who didn't want to do cards.  (It was to be donated too.)  So I thought this would be perfect for the cause.  Quilt cards, and a quilt.  These cards are so easy to make and using our scraps, we used the 1 1/4 square punch glued it onto our sheet, and then I ran it through the Big shot with the top note die cut.  I LOVE my Big Shot!  This card is by far the easiest one to throw together.

So, there you have it, our cards for OWH.  What do you think?  I can't wait to get my first box together.  It's gonna be a great feeling to know our cards are on the way.  I'm so grateful for the sacrifices that our Military Members make and for their families sacrifices too.  It's really hard, but I'm thankful my husband does what he does, and for all of you other people out there who care so much too.  THANK YOU!!

  7. Laughing at myself right now...I tried to make one of those "quilted" top note cards a couple years ago, I think it was. Didn't turn out the best...hmmm...maybe bc I should've applied the squares, THEN cut with top note? ;-) Thanks for the tip.
